“I believe that he (Chief Tony Okoroji) should be given a national honour of the highest order” – OnyekaOnwenu.

Please read below what OnyekaOnwenu once publicly said about the COSON Chairman, Chief Tony Okoroji, the celebrated former president of PMAN, respected author, nationalist and one of Africa’s foremost experts on Intellectual Property rights. This was before Ms. Onwenu got gripped with hatred and began a defamatory campaign against her brother and professional colleague.
“He is someone who is very staunch and when he believes in something he gives it more than one hundred percent. I don’t really believe that Nigeria has given him his due, not at all. I believe that he should be given a national honour of the highest order. I believe that he cares a great deal about Nigeria, has sacrificed for Nigeria and has been a way pointer for Nigeria in the music industry. In the area of copyright, he is in the frontline and has made one of the biggest contributions any individual could make to the copyright regime. We are taking him for granted. I believe that he has sacrificed his life for the music industry in Nigeria. We have not given him his dues….People like Tony Okoroji will spend sleepless nights, sacrifice their families and go and write the laws, copyright laws that are being recognized to be one of the best in the world. That says a lot” – OnyekaOnwenu (captured on video)
